Welcome to “Heal Thy Self”, an established counselling, coaching, mediation & psychotherapy service.

About Heal Thy Self

My name is Helen Molloy, I am an accredited person centred & object relations counsellor, trained and adept at offering an integrative approach drawing from several schools of psychotherapy.  My purpose is to guide individuals in uncovering their authentic selves and better connecting with what brings them meaning and fulfilment

I offer both short-term and long-term counselling, as well as practical life coaching. (I also offer coaching for executives & professionals)  My approach is tailored to your individual needs, allowing you to decide what you wish to discuss and setting the pace that feels right for you

As an integrative counsellor, I am able to offer flexibility in how we work together.  I seek to understand what has brought clients to therapy and tailor sessions to each clients individuals needs, goals and expectations.

During our sessions I will hold a safe, confidential non-judgemental space for you, built on a foundation of trust, empathy, respect and deep listening. I endeavour to support, guide and signpost you during our discussions where you request it and when appropriate, I may:

  • Assist in clarifying your thoughts and feelings

  • Encourage exploration of new or alternative perspectives

  • Observe patterns in how you relate to yourself and others

  • Help you uncover connections and recurring themes in your life

  • Guide you to tune into bodily sensations for deeper insights into your emotions

  • Use tools and techniques to re-frame self-limiting thinking and beliefs

Entering into counselling can feel a scary step,  and I know from my own experience that finding the right counsellor is the most critical element as to whether your therapeutic experience will be a successful one or not.  For this reason I offer a free initial 20 minute consultation for you to ask any questions you may have and to  get a sense of whether you feel I am a right fit for you.

I am also transparent in evaluating whether my services are appropriate for your needs, and will point you toward other support if and where needed.

I work from home, High Kelling in North Norfolk. In the heart of nature surrounded by trees and fields off a quiet private lane. There is car parking on site for clients.

For clients wishing to walk in nature, the beach and woodlands are also accessible by foot via Kelling Heath Park.

  • “To put it simply, Helen has changed my life. I’m about to have my tenth session with her, and I can honestly say that starting this journey has been the best decision I’ve ever made for my mental health.”

    - Rose

  • Suffering with PTSD after very traumatic events at a young age, Helen has helped me tremendously with my issues which have impacted my life dramatically. After 2 years of therapy with Helen I am now on the road to recovery. Definitely recommend Helen - she is a very kind and caring person, empathetic and easy to talk to. She was always there for me and is very much much appreciated and I am grateful for all the help she has given me. I couldn’t have done it without her.

    - Kate

  • For the past 2 years, Helen has helped my daughter tremendously with her mental health issues after severely traumatic events at a young age, for which I am eternally grateful. She has helped my daughter see a future in her life now - she is a changed person. She is amazing!

    - Amanda

  • When it was suggested that I try counselling I was dubious but thought I would give it a go - I’m so very glad I did. Quick background. I had been caring for my husband who has Alzheimer’s and working full time. I was about ready to break. Talking to Helen helped me to cope with all sorts of emotions and to understand myself much better. Not everything is about the present, your past forms the person you become in later life. Life for me is now soo much better in any ways. So all I can say is give counselling a try, you have much to gain and little to lose. Without Helen helping me I don’t know how I would have coped.
